  1. Hi Wayne,
It looks like you have some good work experience. I have a few suggestions for your resume. You might want to add and objective statement that is specific to the position that you are applying for. Take off HS! I would work on strengthening your action statements that describe what you did in your past positions so that you are highlighting your transferable skills. List only relevant courses. For examples check out:http://career.asu.edu/S/CareerPlan/Implementation/Marketing/Resumes/Formats.htm

  2. Wayne -

I think your resume is really good although I do agree with Jessica that you should take off the part about High School. Even though you did a really good job top 5% is very impressive. I also think you should eliminate some of your classes. Although it is helpful for a prospective employer to know what classes you have taken. Listing them may take up to much valuable space. Maybe you could just highlight the classes that were your strong points? In my opinion by doing this, it may draw more attention to your actual work related experience.

  3. Wayne,

I found your resume to be impressive. The fact that you graduated in the top 5% of your class is very impressive. However, after reading Jessica's comments on my blog I realized something--you shouldn't put anything from your high school on your resume. I realized that my resume looked so much better without it. Another suggestion I would make to you would be to take off the classes that you have taken at ASU. Or maybe just condense them. For example, just sum them up. Either way, your resume was impressive and I think that you will do well when it comes time to find a job.

    Thanks,
    Allie
